Set off from Entebbe / Kampala at 5:00am and head for a 7hr drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park in Kasese District using the Masaka, Mbarara route. You will stop along the Equator on Masaka road for a photographic experience if you wish, then we will stopover again for breakfast and embark on the journey directly. Hope to reach Katunguru town within the park at around midday where you will have your packed lunch, then;
Head to the amazing Kyambura gorge for a 3hrs chimpanzee trekking
Head for a 2hr evening boat cruise at 4:00pm on the Kazinga channel which connects Lake George and Lake Edward. This will offer you a chance to see over 400 water bird species and quite a number of wild animals as they flock the channel to drink water, not forgetting the Hippopotamus family that is highly concentrated on the channel.
By 6:00 pm we expect to be heading to your respective accommodation to check in as per your trip category, have dinner and rest. If you are on the budget trip category, then you will make a 30min visit to the salt lake and salt mines as you head to your accommodation at Njovu park lodge.
It’s a beautiful morning in the wild zone as you have your breakfast at 7:00am and after head straight for another amazing close encounter with nature. At 7:30am, we shall drive heading to the Kasenyi side of the park through the tracks where animals can best be viewed at a closer range as you capture your favorite moments. Queen Elizabeth Park is famous for being the home of tree climbing lions. Therefore, keep your eyes both on ground and in the trees. Other animals to see include Elephants, Buffaloes, Bush bucks, Leopard, Uganda Kob, Birds, Hippopotamus, After the game viewing, we shall then embark on a 2hrs journey to Fort Portal town (the “tourism city of Uganda”) where you will have lunch and visit the historical ‘Amabere ga Nyinamwiru’ caves with a waterfall. Coupled with a mini hike on top of the hill, you will have a magnificent view of the landscape worth captions. This will take about 3hrs then you head to your respective accommodations to check in as per your trip category
Have an early morning breakfast and head directly for a 7hrs journey to Murchison Falls using the Hoima, Masindi route. We shall stop in Masindi town to take a packed lunch and carry on to Murchison through the Masindi gate, then;
Trek the Top of the falls, a guide will walk you around the thunderous Murchison Falls, with an optional mini-hike to view the sister falls, Uhuru, which were created in 1962 when the river burst its banks.
After then head to your accommodation to check in for the night, have dinner and rest.
Wake up as early as 6:00am then;
Depart for the ferry crossing to the North Bank, taking along a packed breakfast. Enjoy a 4- hour game drive around the Buligi game tracks, which stretch between the Victoria and Albert Niles, and down to the Nile-Lake Albert Delta. Most of the park’s game and birdlife can be viewed from here, but please note – nothing is guaranteed! The park has 76 different mammal species including Giraffes (these can’t be viewed in Queen Elizabeth Park). Other animals include Lions, Elephants, hippos, leopards, buffaloes, hyenas, warthogs and various antelopes.
Depart for a 3 hour boat cruise along the Victoria Nile to the base of the falls, along the way you will be able to view a wide variety of birds and wildlife, including numerous hippos and crocodiles – as well as breathtaking scenery. Cold drinks are for sale on board.
Have breakfast by 7:30am and after set off for an 8hrs journey to Jinja, we shall have a packed lunch at Kabalega dinners and continue. On arrival, then head for a boat cruise to the source of the Nile
After breakfast, you will head to the briefing place before you start your day on River Nile. You will go white water rafting on the longest river in the world for a fulfilling adventure. The white water rafting goes through some of the best grade five rapids with spectacular leaps and drops; enjoy the scenery of forested islands and the roar of various waterfalls. Wooden canoes with locals congregate in the calm waters anxious to see the rafts in action and fisher men as they go about their business. You have opportunity to swim whenever you reach the spots where the water is placid before you start the rapids again. This is an adventure in the pearl of Africa on the world’s longest river.
