4 Days trip to Queen Elizabeth National Park and Fort Portal

Day1;

Set off from Entebbe / Kampala at 6:00am and head to Mitiyana town where you will stop for a 30min breakfast. Then head directly to Fort Portal hoping to by 12:30pm, check in at Fort View Resort guest house where you will have a 1 hour lunch break. Then;

Visit the “Amabeere Ga Nyinamwiru” caves for 2hrs

Take a crater Lakes view drive on top of the hill, here you have the chance to take as many photos as you can

Stop at Ndali lodge on the hill top for a relaxing moment of a drink (Beer/coffee/soda) as you enjoy the good views of the landscape (3 hrs)

Then head back to Fort View Resort guest house, take diner and rest

DAY2;

Get up by 6:00am and prepare for departure, have breakfast at 7:00am (30min). Then checkout and set off to Queen Elizabeth National Park (4hrs drive). You will stop over in Kasese town for a packed lunch then continue with the journey. Then;

Make a stop at the Equator where you can take some photos

Visit the salt mines on Lake Katwe and a seasonal lake which hosts Flamingos on its banks, but this depends on the stake of the lake.

Make an evening boat cruise at 4:00pm on the Kazinga channel which connects Lake George and Lake Edward. This will offer you a chance to see over 400 water bird species and quite a number of wild animals as they flock the channel to drink water, not forgetting the Hippopotamus family that is highly concentrated on the channel. This will take about 2 and half hours.

Then head to Bush lodge / Njovu park lodge where you will have diner and spend the night.

DAY 3;

Have breakfast at 7:00am and head for;

Morning Game drive in the park (3hrs). This will offer you a chance to see wild animals like Elephants, Buffaloes, Lions, Leopards, Kob, Bush backs, Water backs, Birds (you will then have packed lunch in Katungulu center)

Trek for Chimpanzees in Kyambura forest reserve with a tracker and a guide, this will take like 3hrs starting from 2:00pm. Please remember to curry suitable boots, insect repellants and long trousers for this activity

Then head back to Bush lodge / Njovu park lodge for the second night

DAY4;

Have breakfast at 8:00am then start the journey back to Entebbe/Kampala, you will stop along the way for lunch then curry on with the journey.
