12 Days Primates Tracking and Game Parks

Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe

Upon your arrival at Entebbe Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your guide who will accompany you throughout your safari adventure. From the airport, you will be transferred to your hotel Okra House or Nimaro courts where you will stay overnight.

Day 2: Exploring Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary and Murchison Falls National Park

After a delicious breakfast, your journey begins as you depart for the Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Prepare for an exhilarating rhino tracking experience where you'll have the opportunity to encounter these magnificent creatures up close. Afterward, you will continue your journey to Murchison Falls National Park. The park is known for its breathtaking waterfall and abundant wildlife. Your overnight stay will be in the Murchison Falls area at Ikorom Safari lodge.

Day 3: Wildlife Safari in Murchison Falls National Park

Embark on an early morning game drive/safari in Murchison Falls National Park. As the sun rises, you'll set out to explore the park's diverse ecosystems, spotting a variety of wildlife such as elephants, giraffes, lions, and numerous bird species. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat trip upstream on the Nile River, marveling at the powerful Murchison Falls. Return to your accommodation for a second night.

Day 4: Exploring Murchison Falls National Park and Transfer to Kibale Forest

Begin your day with a visit to the top of the majestic Murchison Falls. The incredible views and the thundering sound of the water crashing through the narrow gorge will leave you in awe. Afterward, you will transfer to the edge of Kibale Forest, a haven for primates. If time permits, take a moment to visit a nearby crater lake and soak in the beauty of the surroundings. Enjoy an overnight stay near Kibale Forest at Rwetwera Safari lodge.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

In the morning, embark on an exciting excursion in the Bigodi Wetlands, where you'll have the chance to spot various bird species and other wildlife. Afterward, proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park, known for its remarkable biodiversity. In the evening, enjoy a thrilling game drive, encountering elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, and more. Day 6: Chimpanzee Tracking and Boat Trip in Queen Elizabeth National Park

Start your day with an unforgettable chimpanzee tracking experience in the Kalinzu Forest Reserve. Trek through the lush forest, listening to the sounds of nature and hoping to catch a glimpse of these playful primates in their natural habitat. Day 7: Wildlife Encounters in Queen Elizabeth National Park and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Experience a sunrise game drive in the Kasenyi Plains, where you can spot lions, hyenas, elephants, and an array of other wildlife in their natural habitat. Next, head to the Ishasha sector, famous for its tree-climbing lions. Keep your eyes peeled as you search for these unique felines. Finally, make your way to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its mountain gorilla population. Overnight stay at Rafiki Safari lodge Buhoma.

Day 8: Gorilla Trekking Adventure in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Prepare for a truly extraordinary experience as you embark on a gorilla trekking adventure in Bwindi Forest. Accompanied by experienced guides, venture deep into the dense vegetation, following the trail of these gentle giants. Day 9: Hiking and Exploration around Lake Mutanda

Return to your accommodation near Lake Mutanda for another night's stay.

Day 10: Lake Mutanda - Lake Mburo National Park

Bid farewell to Lake Mutanda as you transfer to Lake Mburo National Park, known for its unique landscapes and abundant wildlife. Upon arrival, embark on an exciting afternoon game drive, traversing the park's rolling hills and open savannahs in search of zebras, impalas, elands, and other wildlife species. Capture stunning photographs and create lasting memories of your encounters in this beautiful park. Enjoy an overnight stay in the Lake Mburo area ate Leopard Safari camp, surrounded by the sounds of nature.

Day 11: Lake Mburo National Park - Entebbe

Begin your day with a memorable walking safari in Lake Mburo National Park. Accompanied by a knowledgeable guide, explore the park on foot, allowing you to immerse yourself in the smaller details of the ecosystem and spot some of the park's resident wildlife up close. After the walking safari, embark on a transfer back to Entebbe, where you can take the time to explore the town or relax at your hotel, depending on your flight departure time. Spend your last night in Entebbe at one of our magnificent accommodations Okra House or Nimaro Courts, reminiscing about the incredible experiences of your safari journey.

Day 12: Departure from Entebbe

Depending on your flight departure time, you may have the opportunity to further explore the charming town of Entebbe. Visit local markets, stroll along the shores of Lake Victoria, or learn about the country's rich history at the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre. Later, you will be transferred to Entebbe International Airport for your departure, bidding farewell to the stunning landscapes, diverse wildlife, and warm hospitality of Uganda.
