Even at the height of the pandemic, Uganda had one of the lowest number of COVID infections. The situation has significantly improved, and at the last count by the Ministry of Health, there were less than 12 patients admitted in the whole country. Because of this, there is now NO NEED FOR PCR TESTS for both incoming and outgoing visitors to Uganda. All you need to show is that you have a valid COVID-19 VACCINATION CERTIFICATE and you will be allowed to enter the country. However, because COVID-19 has not completely disappeared, we advise that you maintain social distancing and wear masks whenever you are in crowded public places like markets and shopping malls.
